Job Description

The Field Application Engineer (FAE) at Axiro Semiconductor will play a pivotal role in bridging product capabilities with customer needs across pre-sales, design-in, and post-deployment phases. The  individual will work closely with customers across wireless infrastructure, aerospace and defense segments, supporting advanced RF products including beamforming ICs. A strong background in radar and communication systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities 

Key Responsibilities:

I. Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales Support

• Understand customer system architectures and map them to Axiro's product capabilities.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance demos, and architecture-fit consultations.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers to translate engagement into design-in opportunities.

II. Design-In Enablement & Ramp-Up

• Support system-level integration of beamforming and RF front-end ICs while assisting in bring-up and tuning during EVT, DVT, and PVT stages.
• Troubleshoot customer integration issues and coordinate with internal engineering on timelyre solution.
• Provide feedback to internal teams for product enhancement based on field observations.

III. Technical Support & Solutions

• Offer hands-on support at customer sites for configuration, optimization, and debugging.
• Conduct product demonstrations tailored to target applications and performance criteria.
• Deliver expert guidance on use-case-specific implementation strategies  and maintain responsiveness to customer queries through all technical stages.

IV. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Act as a liaison between customer and Axiro’s engineering, product definition, and product marketing teams.
• Collaborate with Product Definition and BU Application engineering team to develop technical training collaterals, quick-start guides, and application notes.
• Capture voice-of-customer insights and feed them into the product definition process.
• Contribute to team knowledge base through regular feedback loops and field debriefs.

V. Relationship Management & Growth Enablement

• Build strong long-term technical relationships with engineering and procurement stakeholders.
• Monitor customer success post-deployment and propose future roadmap alignment.
• Support channel partners and distributor enablement through training sessions and technical Q&A.
• Represent Axiro at key industry events and technical forums with a solution-oriented mindset.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics, Electrical, or Communications Engineering.
Experience: 8-10 years in field applications, RF system design, or radar hardware development Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with phased arrays, beamforming, and front-end signal chains.
• Experience with tools like ADS, HFSS, MATLAB/Python, and RF test equipment (VNA, Spectrum Analyzer).
• Understanding of design validation phases (EVT, DVT, PVT).
• Proficient in using CRM tools, interpreting market data, and preparing actionable insights for sales and engineering teams.

Soft Skills:

• Skilled at objection handling, post-sales follow-up, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and commercial stakeholders.

Travel: Willingness to travel across India for customer and partner engagements, including occasional
international travel for training or customer support.
